About Stephanie Michelle Lokelani Cullen
(Steph Lokelani)
I am a video producer, filmmaker, and storyteller. A Kānaka Maoli (Native Hawaiian) living in Boise, Idaho, who loves to create and collaborate. My top Clifton StrengthsFinder strengths are achiever, learner, intellection, responsibility, and positivity.
With a Bachelor of Science in Digital Cinematography from Full Sail University, class of 2017, and a Master of Arts in Communication with an emphasis on New Media and Marketing from Southern New Hampshire University, class of 2023, I run two production companies, #OMGFemaleFilmmakers and OMG Studios Boise, and a digital media company, OMG Media Outlet. I am also a graduate of the 2021-2023 Leadership Boise cohort and the Treasurer of the Board for the nonprofit Quest for Freedom.
I create video content for large corporations such as HP and Boise Cascade, local nonprofits such as The Wassmuth Center for Human Rights, Learning Lab of Boise, United Way of Treasure Valley, and the Idaho Nonprofit Center, and PR firms such as Full Swing PR, to name a few. My filmmaking passion is in the nonprofit sector creating short documentaries and video essays for and about the people (and sometimes animals) who give to our communities and thrive because of them. I am fortunate that I get to do what I love every single day.
When I’m not creating video content, I can be found at the gym always training for myself, running with my dog or riding my bike on the Boise River Greenbelt, and chasing after my three ornery cats. I also love Sunday brunch.
Take a look around my website, enjoy some short films, and drop me a line. I’m available to shoot your next short film, documentary, or corporate video and am always up for travel. Experiencing the world only furthers my story‐telling abilities.
You can also visit my physical studio space, OMG Studios Boise, in Garden City, Idaho, an audio and video production studio, and my Media, Marketing, and Communications website, OMG Media Outlet, where I put my new skills from my masters program to work!
